HaloFreeEtch General Assembly at VUB MICROLAB
On March 5-6, 2025, the VUB MicroFlow Cell hosted the General Assembly of the HaloFreeEtch project. In this EIC Pathfinder project, MicroFlow Cell cooperates with TU Chemnitz, PlasmaSolve, Fraunhofer ENAS, Uni Graz, LioniX International and Warrant Hub.
Final Stage of MICROLAB Cleanroom Construction
The construction of the MICROLAB cleanroom is now reaching its final stage. All machines are in place and will be put into service in the coming weeks and months. We hope to host our first users in the second quarter of 2025!

While the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) is banning the use of fluorochemicals because of their detrimental effects on the environment and health, the European Commission (EC) has launched the European Chips Act to bring semiconductor manufacturing back to Europe.
